MOPS was developed to nurture and encourage mothers of preschoolers (infants to kindergartners) while providing a safe place for a mom to be herself; grow as a wife, mother and friend; and know and experience God’s love. MOPS provides opportunities to connect with other moms while gaining knowledge and sharing experiences on subjects relating to womanhood, marriage, child rearing and more...each from a biblical perspective. A typical MOPS meeting includes an informal time of treats and conversation, followed by a speaker, then small group discussion time...creating honest interactions, deepening friendships and spiritual enrichment.

MOPPETS childcare (available in the church nursery) is designed to care for the needs of children from birth to kindergarten. Each morning includes stories, games, songs, crafts, play time, and a snack. (Infants up to 6 months old are welcome to attend the meetings with mom; we ask that older children attend Moppets.)
Wooddale MOPS has two groups that meet on
alternating Thursday mornings from September through May.

MOPS For Free

We want to encourage everyone to enjoy MOPS – if you would like to waive your registration fee, you can participate in our MOPS For Free Program! MOPS For Free is a program where you can give back to your fellow MOPS moms and work in the MOPPETS Childcare every other Thursday. You will have the opportunity to make and strengthen additional friendships, care and love the children in the program, and help MOPS by making our program a safe, loving and fun place to be for both kids and moms.
