Showing Love and Compassion

Wooddale Worldwide partners with many organizations throughout the Twin Cities by supplying volunteers’ time, talents and resources. We want to make a difference by addressing the physical, social and spiritual needs, while showing the love of Jesus. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Since 1973, New Life Family Services has been supporting women, men, children and families faced with pregnancy-related needs with the love and compassion of Jesus. New Life offers a comprehensive array of services through several programs. The goal: Changing hearts. Saving lives. Building families. Restoring hope.

Adoption Services

Choosing adoption is a significant life-changing decision. New Life has been helping birth parents and adoptive families through the adoption process since 1980.

First Care Pregnancy Center

For those facing an unplanned pregnancy, NLFS operates five pregnancy centers offering help and hope to those in need. They offer pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, decision-making counseling, adoption services, and parenting education and support through their Parenting Plus program. All of their services are free.

Conquerors Post-abortion Program

Statistics show that 1 in 3 women will have an abortion by the age of 45. Abortion impacts each woman in a different way and many are suffering in silence. The Conquerors program provides a safe place to work through the abortion experience and help find healing. The program is led by women who have had abortions and can relate to the experience. Participants can share their stories in a confidential small group setting where they are listened to and not judged.

“I was afraid to tell anyone about my abortion, particularly women in my church. It was so freeing to participate in the Conquerors program and talk through all that I had been feeling with other women that could relate to my experience.” – Conquerors client

“I thought I was fine and my abortion was not an issue, but I continued to struggle with depression. I kept thinking if I would just lose weight or get a better job I would be happy. It wasn’t until I went through the Conquerors program that I realized how much the abortion had affected my life.” – Conquerors client
