In a focused effort to develop future leaders, Wooddale’s Ministry Mentoring Program facilitates opportunities for students in grades 4-12, college students and seminary students to experience and explore ministry.

Apprentice Leader

Apprentice Leaders are adults who assist the Ministry Mentoring Pastor at ministry mentoring events by helping to facilitate meaningful experiences for students. They encourage apprentice participation and personal processing of each ministry event as they build relationships with the apprentices. Apprentice Leaders are involved with one of the following groups of apprentices: 4^th-6^th grade, 7^th-9^th grade, or 10^th-12^th grade.

Leadership Trainer

Leadership Trainers are adults from either the ministry or professional world who train apprentices (4^th-12^th grade) or interns (college and seminary) in leadership topics. The Leadership Trainers work with the Ministry Mentoring Pastor to develop and prepare training on key leadership topics.

Ministry Mentoring Team Members provide strategic vision, leadership and direction to the Ministry Mentoring process. Team members evaluate and provide direction to the exiting Ministry Mentoring ministry and offer suggestions for the future of the ministry.
