Calm Down!!!

September 4-10, 2010

My high school football coach often told us to “stay calm!!!” It didn’t matter if we were scoring touchdowns or throwing interceptions. “Calm down!!!,” he would yell. He wanted us to respond with character and composure in each circumstance.

Life’s circumstances will bring us joys and sorrows. We never know when they will hit. But in each of those moments God is calling us to respond with character and composure. Philippians 2:5 says, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus…”

No matter what comes your way this week, respond with the attitude and character of Christ!
