Contemporary Worship
Contemporary worship services at Wooddale Church bring together dynamic music, compelling dramas, moving real life stories, and stirring teachings and are very popular with people of all ages. The overall experience is uplifting and prepares you for the week to live a life pleasing to God!
- Music: is upbeat, vibrant and worshipful. Most recently a contemporary worship choir has been added to enhance the worship experience. This larger group of vocals brings an entirely different energy to the services and sings once a month. Every week the music is performed in a professional manner and with relevancy yet, there is always a sense that God is the focus.
- Teaching: is centered on the Bible and provides practical applications to life's situations. The messages are inspirational and will inspire you to draw closer to God, family and friends.
- Faith Stories: Almost every week you get the opportunity to hear somebody tell about how God is working in and through his or her life. These real life stories that we call "FaithStories" are considered by some to be the best thing that we have going for one reason: they are proof of all that is being claimed and taught in the services.
- Dramas: Entertaining and thought provoking dramas relating to the message are regularly presented and enhance your worship experience. The dramas bring the theme for the service to bear upon everyday life situations.
- Attire: Dress is mostly casual with some people wearing jeans and others wearing suits and dresses.
