Wooddalers' Generosity Provide Warmth

The Winter Warmth Clothing Drive was nothing short of a success! Over 200 men, women and children now have the provisions to keep their family warm this winter.

Many of the items went to refuges that had recently arrived from warm places like Myanmar, Somalia and Iraq. Upon arrival, their possessions consisted of simple shorts, tank tops and flip flops. Wooddale partnered with World Relief and Minnesota Counsel of Churches to help keep these families warm. Other coats were given to inner city youth who attend Urban Ventures Learning Lab in Minneapolis. They saved up Good Decision points to “purchase” the items.
