Wooddale Church has probably been important in your spiritual life and those of your loved ones. You may have come to faith through its ministries and have seen your children grow through the children’s and youth ministries. You may have even met your spouse and been married at Wooddale. Internationally, Wooddale’s ministries reach out to those who have never heard of Jesus and those living with the effects of sin—poverty, lliteracy, hunger, disease and slavery—all with the purpose of pointing them to Jesus the giver of life abundant. Wooddale Church has a history of good stewardship. Wooddale’s leaders believe that trust and accountability are essential pillars of good financial stewardship. Wooddale Church follows strict accounting guidelines. All financial records are audited annually by a public accounting firm. The Board of Elders proposes a budget and objectives that are voted on by the church at its annual meeting. The Elders, elected by the membership, also monitor the budget and progress against objectives at their monthly meetings.
