Why give a Legacy Gift to Wooddale Church?

Gratitude

Wooddale Church has probably been important in your spiritual life and those of your loved ones. You may have come to faith through its ministries and have seen your children grow through the children’s and youth ministries. You may have even met your spouse and been married at Wooddale. There are so many ways that Wooddale has been God’s agent of blessing to its people. A legacy gift is a wonderful means of saying “Thank you Wooddale Church for blessing my life.”

God’s Kingdom

Wooddale Church is committed to strategically advance God’s Kingdom by making more disciples for Jesus Christ. This is accomplished by fulfilling the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of others—those at home and around the world. In giving to Wooddale Church you have the opportunity to reach out and serve people in the Twin Cities and in many countries around the world. Wooddale’s ministries locally include teaching and discipling men, women and children of all ages in ways that enable them to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Internationally, Wooddale’s ministries reach out to those who have never heard of Jesus and those living with the effects of sin—poverty, lliteracy, hunger, disease and slavery—all with the purpose of pointing them to Jesus the giver of life abundant. (John 10:10)

Good Stewardship

Wooddale Church has a history of good stewardship. Wooddale’s leaders believe that trust and accountability are essential pillars of good financial stewardship. Wooddale Church follows strict accounting guidelines. All financial records are audited annually by a public accounting firm. The Board of Elders proposes a budget and objectives that are voted on by the church at its annual meeting. The Elders, elected by the membership, also monitor the budget and progress against objectives at their monthly meetings.
