The third quarter will take us further into Greek Koine literature in general. One book we may use is a Patristic Greek Reader by Rodney A. Whitacre which will enable us to read a few of the writings of the early church fathers. For instance, one of his chapters has to do with a message by John Chrysostom, the great preacher of the fourth century A.D. There are many other possibilities for this third quarter which we will consider and select from.

Because of the popularity of the Left Behind series of books and those most recently of Joel Rosenberg, there has been an increased interest in the Bible's depiction of the events of the last days. It is God's desire of His children to have an understanding of the magnitude of the wrath which He will pour out upon this world in the last days because of its rejection of Him. That is the reason for the importance of the Book of Revelation. No homework assignments for this class
